CUSTOM FABRICATION
Meyer Architectural Signs & Graphics is proud to offer custom fabrication on projects. As an in-house manufacturer producing a multitude of project types in an on-site warehouse, quality is evident focus when viewing any completed element. In-house manufacturing gives Meyer ASG a competitive advantage resulting in the ability to meet critical deadlines and stay on budget. The most common processes are detailed below.
PHOTOPOLYMER
Photopolymer signage is available in both interior and exterior grades and features a unique, clear sign base that is both resilient and shatterproof. The manufacturing process creates an integral bond between the two layers and is finished with an acrylic polyurethane membrane that contains a UV protectant to prevent UV degradation and vandalism.

RASTER BRAILLE
The Raster Braille Method is the industry leading way to create braille signage. This method meets all of the latest federal ADA guidelines for dot dimension spacing, height, and shape. The Raster Braille method is waterproof in almost any environment and complies with ANSI A117.1 building code standards.

LASER
Laser cutting works by directing a high-power laser at the material to be cut. The precision levels and edge quality achieved with laser cutting machines are better than traditional cutting methods as the laser beam will not wear during the laser cutting process. Laser cutting technology also enables complex shapes to be cut without the need for tooling and at a similar or faster speed than other cutting methods.

WATERJET
When high end projects require special edge details nothing will be as high of quality of an edge as a waterjet. We leave behind a smooth edge. No heat affected zones or mechanical stresses are introduced. That means you can have a smooth edge that does not require any grinding or finishing. Because it’s a cold cutting process there is no slag, dross, or change in material properties

ROUTING
Routing is a high performance computer-controlled process used to translate complex designs from the computer screen to a custom cutting process . Routing can be used with cutting various hard materials, such as wood, composites, aluminum, steel, plastics, and foams. high powered vacuum pumps, with grid table tops hold down materials for consistent precision cuts. Automation and precision are the key benefits allowing your fonts and designs to be replicated exactly again and agin without variation.

PAINTING
The paint booth is set up directly in the warehouse. This in-house paint booth gives Meyer ASG environment control over temperature and controls the number particles inside the paint booth for clean and precise paint tipped signs.
